ALTAROMA: RANI ZAKHEM

Ambassador of the glamor of Hollywood, Rani Zakhem dedicates his collection to the legendary American film costume vintage (Gilbert Adrian, Jean Louis, Orry Kelly) and opens the show with a dress that is a real tribute to Marlene Dietrich.

The show aims to be a contemporary interpretation of fashion dell'allure the first half of '900, suspended between Art Deco, Ertè, the Roaring Twenties, the cabaret, the desire for glamor and beauty despite the grayness of the world wars.
What is the glamor if not to transform women into luminescent beings? It all starts with a outfit stretching thin figure, embroidered with crystals and pearls. In the collection resort they fold swaying caressing the body, sheaths of gold lace adorned with crystals, sheath dresses with lurex reminiscent of a silvery waterfall. The light is the real theme, and the use of color is targeted to enhance this light: colors stolen from shades of gold, orange and champagne until the flaming red, ending in a black satin sky decorated by a constellation of diamonds, in an imaginary cycle that sees the alternation of sun and moon in their colors so different in their shape the time between day and night.
