ANTIUM - BELLONE ANZIO 2014

ANTIUM - BELLONE ANZIO 2014

Monday May 25 in Rome at the headquarters of Bibenda (Hotel Rome Cavalieri) and Tuesday 26 May at Anzio in Palazzo Paradiso sul Mare was presented the newest member of the wines from Casale del Giglio. Just typical of the area of Anzio, the Bellone marks the rediscovery of the ancient vine Lazio.

Also known as "grapes bread" for its thick skin and large, the Bellone is yellow in color with golden hues. Solar wine with hints of ripe tropical fruit, such as mango and papaya, as opposed to a substantial acidity, make it suitable for long aging in bottle. The palate is very full, rich and persistent, with light shades and floral and spicy with flavor and pronounced minerality.

An important result, that of Bellone, which coincides with the celebration of "30 Years of Research and Experimentation" Company. In 1985 Dino Santarelli has launched an experimental project that, over time, led to the production of wines of considerable quality, more and more popular, even internationally.
Casale del Giglio and its wines always receive numerous awards.
