BACK TO ROME “THE BEST ITALIAN WINE"

After the huge success of wine events carried out at regional level (Frascati, Milano, Firenze), Luca Maroni, sensory analyst and one of the signatures of Italian oenology popular around the world, back in the capital with the National Edition of "The Best Italian Wines".

 

Once again this year to host the major event, the splendid rooms of the Complesso Monumentale Santo Spirito in Sassia, a place from incredible artistic and cultural beauty dating back to 1470, that will make it to the general public and operators even more enjoyable and scenic this route snack tasting of the best Italian wine labels.

 

The festival will take place from Thursday 12 to Sunday, February 15, 2015. Opening the event the now-awaited awarding of the best manufacturers in the Yearbook of the Best Italian Wines 2015.

The presentation of awards will be curated by Luca Maroni and will alternate with moments of music, performing arts and will be exclusive to the presence of the press, of opinion leaders and other personalities from the world of institutions and entertainment.

 

Chosen according to the method of tasting scientific created by the same Luca Maroni, based on the principle that the quality of the wine is the pleasure of its taste and the three parameters of Consistency, Balance and Integrity, we find among Firms awarded: Farnese, Montalbera, Ariola, Poggio Le Volpi, warlike, Jasci & Marchesani.

 

During the four days, the reality of selected Italian wine sector will make available to the public in free tasting their wines. The companies will have the opportunity to appreciate the best of their production to a specialized audience and really interested. Rounding out the location of the event fond culinary specialties of accredited food companies of excellence Made in Italy and a space reserved for brandies and spirits.

 

New this year "A dinner or lunch with the manufacturer”. The chef Pasquale Fiore and Claudio Salerno restaurant Casale Baldetti Frascati (Rome) propose unpublished tasting menu which, in turn, will enhance the quality and individual characteristics of the wines offered in accompaniment. Planned several other events, including the Wine Tasting by Luca Maroni, tastings focused on the methodology of sensory analysis, during which the audience of fans will discover the organoleptic characteristics of about 10 wines of the companies present at the event and Mixology, a place to discover original cocktails made with wine and culinary specialties of productive participants.
