Spring issue 2012

With this new issue, Luxury Files begins a challenging year and is entering a new phase.
We have been dealing with luxury issues for over ten years now, we are among the most widely recognized and appreciated magazines in the world of lifestyle and – in some ways – through the years, we have both anticipated trends and foreseen an increasingly competitive scenario, thanks to our many successful intuitions.
We are now trying to do the same by restyling our magazine in order to keep up with the ever-changing times, with the international contingencies and also with the evolution of the concept of luxury.
Therefore, the choice of a new director is no coincidence,  but rather, a tangible sign of our will to change. We are glad to introduce the person who will embody the growth and natural evolution of Luxury Files, to our readers: a sociologist who has been working as a journalist for more than forty years now, and as  Associated Professor of Communication Technology at the University of Perugia for more than twenty years.
This is Enrico Cogno, a well-known communicator and trainer.  Founder of one of Italy’s most widely recognized institutes of Training and Managerial Consultancy, he also been its director for some thirty years. Throughout his long career, he has carried out many consulting assignments for important firms and international institutions. He is an ex-Vice President of FERPI, the Italian Public Relations Federation, and is currently a member of the most important Training and Communication associations. He currently teaches at the LUISS Business School and has never put his editorial activities aside, releasing works of great interest for several publishing houses. The truth is, we couldn’t possibly include everything there is to say, if we were to write a book, on Enrico Cogno. We may add, to his long experience and great expertise, that Enrico constantly surprises us with his anecdotes and interests which span from judo to jazz music, which he has always enjoyed composing.
So, finally, to avoid  a complicated and useless summary, we prefer leaving you with the possibility of discovering, and giving a warm welcome to, an impeccable professional, who is also a fascinating person, a passionate and very profound man, from which there is so much to learn
